Tailor-made advice from the Tod’s Artisan

From Friday 9 November to Sunday 11 November a Tod’s artisan will travel from the factory in the Marche region of Italy to Selfridges London to demonstrate the fine craftsmanship behind the making of the iconic Tod’s Gommino driving shoe.

There are over 100 steps to building a Tod’s Gommino, from the hand cutting of the pieces that will form the basic structure to stitching together the individual parts. This entire process occurs by hand and each step involves an artisan who is specifically qualified to each individual task.

Join us in store for tailor-made advice from the Tod’s artisan. What’s more, you are invited to have your newly-purchased Gommini personalised with your initials using a traditional hot stamping technique.

Visit Shoe Galleries on 2 from Friday 9 November to Sunday 11 November.
