Summer of sport at Selfridges London

With the eyes of the world on London and millions of visitors expected to visit our great city in the coming months, we’ve organised an array of in-store activities and events to celebrate this very special summer of sport.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Friday 27 July until Sunday 12 August, Selfridges will be bringing the Oxford Street store to life with a host of live animations to entertain and enthral you as you explore the new season arrivals.

12pm – 6pm: Fri 27 July, Fri 3 August and Fri 10 August

Britain’s Got Talent 2011 semi finalist, Marawa the Amazing, will be wowing crowds throughout the store with her awe-inspiring hula hoop performances.

12pm – 6pm: Sat 28 July, Sun 29 July, Sat 4 August, Sun 5 August, Sat 11 August and Sun 12 August

For all those gymnastics fans out there, the incredible gymnastic troupe from the iconic Pineapple Dance Studios will be performing routines around the store.

A host of ‘modern athletes’ will be roaming the shop floor and holding poses to get you into the sporting spirit.

There will be a walking sandwich board cruising the store to keep you up to date with the latest news and sporting results while you shop.

If you missed out on tickets then our live commentator will help you feel like you’re a part of the action with an amusing running commentary around the shop escalators.
