Selfridges London will be kick-starting London Fashion Week in style with the launch of the Bompas & Parr Mercedes Drive Thru from 14 to 16 September.

The project presents a spectacular mix of food and light art designed to turn the enjoyment of dining in a car into an exceptional sensory experience.

Located beneath Selfridges in the 40m long marble entrance to the Old Selfridges Hotel, the Drive Thru will feature a revolving restaurant, troupe of roller girls, uniforms by Tour de Force and an artwork with moving eyeballs entitled The Four Horsemen of the Oesophagus.

Enjoy a completely unique dining experience as the Mercedes Drive Thru offers an unforgettable menu to the fashion world, served directly to the car by roller-skating staff. Bompas & Parr have worked with light artists Jason Bruges Studio to create a vast pulsating light installation which illuminates as you drive through it. 

"We create luxury dining, Mercedes produces luxury cars – working together to create the world's best "drive thru" is therefore an obvious collaboration" explains Sam Bompas, co-founder of Bompas & Parr.

  • Pedestrian tickets for the revolving restaurant are £10 each and include your meal
  • Vehicle passes for the Drive Thru are £40 and include 4 meals (cars not provided)
  • There will also be walk-up tickets available for the revolving restaurant
