Y-3 pop-up launches at Selfridges London
Since launching in 2003 as a collaboration between forward-thinking designer Yohji Yamamoto and innovative sportswear label Adidas, the brand has gained a loyal following for its edgy take on athleticwear. For A/W13, the label has reinterpreted its signature pieces from the last ten years and we've got ten of these pieces exclusively at Selfridges.
These ten key pieces, chosen by our buying team, include a long-sleeved ribbed dress and the Sea backpack in neon pink amongst a selection of women's apparel, footwear and accessories which are showcased in the specially designed space.
The unique Y-3 platform has been designed to embody the pioneering sports style of the label – a look that continues to mix Yohji Yamamoto's avant-garde aesthetic with the originality of Adidas. This innovative collaboration has established Y-3 as one of the most vibrant labels in the marketplace. Yohji Yamamoto says, "Ten years ago, together with Adidas, we created something that did not exist before, and we completely projected the future. My desire was and is to make sportswear elegant and chic."
