Welcome to the Quiet Shop at Selfridges

— 7 January 2013

The Quiet Shop at Selfridges London

The ‘Quiet Shop’, now open in the Concept Store on G as part of our store-wide No Noise initiative, offers a carefully selected range of products that encourage ‘considered purchasing’. From a capsule collection of unique symbolically de-branded items to everyday stationery and wardrobe staples, the edit promotes a purer approach to design and shopping.

We pay homage to the heroes of minimalism with a carefully curated edit from the spring/summer 2013 catwalks, including Acne, Maison Martin Margiela, Sportmax, Yohji Yamamoto, Jil Sander, Ann Demeulemeester and Mugler.

The Quiet Shop at Selfridges London - SS13 edit

Some of the world’s most recognisable brands have taken the admirable step of removing their logos in our collection of de-branded products - including Beats by Dre, Levi’s, Marmite and Crème de la Mer - each creating exclusive collector’s items of the future.

In other collaborations, Acne has created exclusive No Noise pieces by removing the slogans from SS13 runway t-shirts. Tom Binns presents an exclusive capsule collection of simple jewellery styles in silver and gold. Collaborative fashion label Each x Other debuts its unisex wardrobe with limited edition pieces created in partnership Alizé Meurisse, Robert Montgomery and Thomas Lélu.

The Quiet Shop at Selfridges London - yellow bag exhibit

Selfridges leads the way with the No Noise’s de-branding initiative by removing the logo from our iconic yellow bags. In a unique exhibit, you can see the evolution of the famous bag with a display of seven Selfridges bags from throughout our illustrious history.

Visit The Quiet Shop on G at Selfridges London until 23 February.
