Stay Dench at Selfridges

In a new urban addition to our menswear offering, Selfridges has launched new brand Stay Dench – the brainchild of rapper Lethal Bizzle and Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong.

Lethal Bizzle came up with the word ‘dench’ in 2010 to mean ‘great’ and, after using it in his songs, media interviews and social media, it quickly caught on in urban and sports culture. The enterprising duo launched the ‘Stay Dench’ fashion label in 2012, with a collection of t-shirts, sweaters and caps emblazoned with the bold slogan logo. 

The brand has seen phenomenal support from the sports and music world, with high-profile fans including Greg James, Djbriel Cisse, Iain Wright, Chipmunk, Jack Wilshire and Dame Judi Dench herself.
